Hosts of the most sought-after events in London for lesbian/bisexual women

    The Story

Mint has earned the reputation of hosting the most popular lesbian and bisexual events in London. Founded in 2006 by Nicola Chubb, the brand has gone from strength to strength. It reached its pinnacle and became a widely recognized name in 2010 - when one of the events was first held at the ultra chic members club - Soho House.

Today, Mint run a range of different social events in various venues across the capital. They are aimed at women with refined tastes who want to dance until dawn, catch up with old friends and meet like-minded females in a fun environment.

Nicola is also known for owning Rush Bar Soho, Co-Founder of Winter Pride and the dating app findhrr and in previous years working on large scale events such as Out on the Dock, Brighton Pride & As One in the Park.

    That Friday Feeling!

    New Mint Party

    Friday 2nd March - 9pm - 3am

Sama Bankside, 3 Robinson Road, London SE1 8BU

Do you love partying on a Friday without being squeezed into a small basement bar? Want to let your hair down, drink oodles of your favourite tipple and party until the early hours of the morning without niggling thoughts of a painfully early start the next day?

If you’re silently nodding then read on, for we’re ludicrously excited to announce that Mint is hosting a night to remember on Friday 2nd March at a brand spanking new venue hailing by the name of Sama Bankside.

This spacious, independently owned DJ bar is set within a historical Victorian viaduct steeped in history and nestled within the main railway leading to London’s iconic Blackfriars Station.

Frolic with your favourite people in cosy booths or flirt with a sexy stranger on one of the venue’s slinky chesterfield sofas as you nurse a cheeky cocktail, champagne, fine wine or beer.

Lavishly laid out over two decadent floors, Sama Bankside is conveniently located close to Central London and is moments away from Southwark Station, so reaching the venue will be easy after a long, dull day at the office.

Mince about the laid-back top floor boasting exposed brickwork and huge glass windows, making relaxed conversation with lady-lovers, before sauntering downstairs to the party floor, where you can shake your booty to the sounds of our fierce Mint DJs – further enhanced by the acoustics of the venue’s iconic bridge arches.

Watch out for some new Mint DJs including Amy Alexandra playing alongside Elle and Mint resident Misty B with a feisty selection of R&B, club classics and pop diva hits to give you that fabulous Friday feeling as you party with an eclectic mix of London’s finest lesbian and bisexual women.

The party takes place just a few days before International Women’s Day, so prepare to celebrate girl power (and the start of the weekend) in style. We will also be supporting Breast Cancer Now and have reduced our ticket price, allowing you to donate those extra pounds on the night to this very worthy cause.

Boy buddies and your homies are welcome, – the more the merrier. It’s Friday night so get ready to party hard like there’s no (work) tomorrow and treat yourself to a night our with your besties, guilt-free and smug in the cosy knowledge that you have a whole two days to recover.
